A Changing Workforce the Woman Business Owner Needs to Understand

Have you looked around your office lately? The workplace is changing as it reflects the changing demographics. Of course, one can't help but notice that less are also doing more. "The New Workforce Reality" study reports that in just a few years there will be 151 million jobs for 141 million people. Women will continue to fill a greater number of these jobs the research says as 85% of the people entering the workforce will be women, people of color and immigrants. With this news, my questions are: How will business change to meet the reality of the changing workforce? How, and when, will boardrooms understand the need to stay relevant to their customers and employees? How will companies attract and retain the best talent? Of course, the successful company is already addressing these issues - or should be. If only the dinosaurs had seen change coming.
